Using CVE+ as a Coral Bath
Our long term Coral Essentials enthusiasts will remember the original “juice baths” where we would soak corals in Chroma+ & Vibrance+ from the Black Label range. These baths are to help sick and dying corals to recover faster and to improve colours of healthy corals by giving them an intense hit of vitamins.
This brings us to using CVE+ in a coral bath. We can confidently say that using CVE+ in a bath solution has proven top be just as effective and you can expect the same great benefits from the original “juice bath” by now using CVE+.
Dosage for the CVE+ Bath is no exact science, but you can follow the method we used if you’d like to give it a go. Take the volume of CVE+ that you would normally add to your aquarium in a single dose, add this to a container that just accommodates the coral you wish to bathe, fill the container with water and add the coral. Leave it soaking for 10-15 mins. Take the coral out and put it back in the aquarium, add the dip/bath water to the aquarium as this is still perfectly fine for the other corals to benefit from.
Give it a try on your corals. But please note that water quality is the deciding factor of coral health. We can only speed up what your water quality allows us to.
