Diluting Chroma+, Vibrance+ & Energy+
We generally do not recommend diluting our Chroma+, Vibrance+ and Energy+ but it can be done in smaller batches (1-2 weeks) or a full 1 litre worth if you're able to steralise all containers and have sealed dosing containers.

Please note Energy+ used to be unable to be diluted but we have changed the carrier in the formula to be water soluble. To ensure that you have the Energy+ that can be diluted just drop some in water and it will dissolve and be slightly milky. If the oil stays on top of the water then this is the old formula which cannot be diluted but will still work just the same as a daily dosage by drops.
​​We recommend diluting only 1-2 weeks worth of Chroma+, Vibrance+ and Energy+ to try and avoid the product being spoiled. Smaller batches of 1-2 weeks worth are less likely to spoil even if you don’t sterilise the water and equipment but again, do so at your own risk of the product. 
​To make up 1 week worth of solution do the following.
  • Add your 1 week worth of drops (20 drops = 1ml approx.) of each product separately to 700ml of RO/DI and dose 100ml per day (100ml x 7 days = 700ml). Dose this solution of each multiple times over a 24hr period for best results.
To make up 2 weeks worth of solution do the following.
  • Add your 2 weeks worth of drops of each product separately to 700ml of RO/DI and dose 50ml per day (50ml x 14 days = 700ml). Dose this solution multiple times over a 24hr period for best results.
This method will be useful for aquarists wishing to add the products to tanks smaller than 100L as our products are based on X amount of drops per 100L but you will need to make some adjustments to the mix ratio for your needs.  If you have a 50L tank then it's effectively 1 drop per day (recommended dosage is 2 drops per 100L daily, or 1 drop per 100L twice daily) for your tank on average so 2 weeks worth of drops is 14 drops to go into the 700ml.  If you feel 700ml is too much "fresh" water to dose into your tank as evaporation is lower then adjust the final volume.  Perhaps only make 350ml or 100ml and adjust daily dosage rates accordingly, 25ml (for 350ml solution) or 7ml (for 100ml solution) per day.​
You can also dilute a full 50ml of Chroma+, Vibrance+ and Energy+ into a 1 litre solution as follows. We don’t encourage this but it can be done entirely at your own risk of the product spoiling.
  1. Ensure that the RO/DI water (950ml each) is sterilised by boiling and let to cool.
  2. Ensure that all the equipment used to carry or pour the RO/DI is sterilised as well.
  3. Also ensure that the dosing container is sterile to avoid any spoiling of the product. 
Use a chemical steralising agent to steralise mixing containers and dosing vessels. If you think you’ve contaminated anything or you aren’t confident in your completed sterilisation then it won’t hurt to do it again. If you are certain your sterilisation was good then proceed as below.
  1. Pour 50ml of each of the Chroma+, Vibrance+ and Energy+ into it's own steralised mixing container (or dosing vessel) and add 950ml of sterilised RO/DI water to make 1 litre total volume for each.
  2. The dosage rate will now be 1ml per 100L twice daily of each 1L solution. Dose each of the solutions multiple times over a 24hr period for best results.
