Diluting Coral Essentials for use in Dosing pumpsFor those of us who like to use dosing pumps, rather than manual dosing, you can simply dilute the products with RODI water. It's a simple ratio of 20:1 product to RODI water and then set the dosing as you need.
A simple conversion is that 1 drop is 1/20 of a ml, therefore 20 drops is 1ml. If our recommendations are for dosing 1 drop per day then when the product is diluted you dose 1ml per day, If it's 2 drops per day you dose 2ml, simple. The following Products are recommended for diluting as follows: Place 50ml of product into 950ml of RODI water Coral Power Trace A, B and C Coral Power Amino, Gro, Bacteria Food Coral Power Bromide, Boron, Potassium, Fluoride, Iodide, Iron, Reef KI3, Lithium, Manganese, Selenium, Cobalt, Zinc, Chromium, Nickel, Molybdenum Coral Power Nitrate Up, Phosphate Up, Strontium Up The following products are recommended to only mix up enough diluted solution to last 14 days. For example if you does 2 drops per day, then that's 28 drops per fortnight (14 days), only mix up 28ml at the ratio of 20:1. If you does 10 drops per day, then 140 drops every 2 weeks, make up 140ml of diluted solution at the ratio of 20:1.
