The Coral Essentials Method - Ultimate Control

The addition of trace elements proportional to the addition of calcium, carbonate and magnesium in a marine tank is a well known supplementation technique. The most well known method is the Balling Method. We have developed our own method, based on the Balling Method, we call the Coral Essentials Method, using our own Coral Power Trace A, B, C, Boron, Bromide and Potassium.

Most other manufacturers of marine supplements only offer pre-determined ratios of calcium, carbonate, magnesium and trace elements in their pre-mixed solutions for you with no way of varying the trace levels. But we know that not all tanks are the same, not all tanks are "one size fits all". Simply start with our new range of Calcium Up, Carbonate Up and Magnesium Up powders and add the quantity you require of our Trace element mixes to your Calcium, Carbonate and Magnesium water, and then dose according to your usage. We have straight forward and easy to use mixing calculators to make this as simple as A B C. Our predetermined levels ensure that you are only adding micro elements in the correct ratio of Natural Sea Water based on the uptake of Calcium, Carbonate and Magnesium in your tank. This uptake is predominantly determined by the quantity of SPS and other hard coral in your aquarium. It takes the guess work out.

However, as we love to offer our valued customers full control you can fine tune the amount of trace added to each based on growth, colour and vitality. Soon enough you will be adding micro-elements at the optimum ratio for your tank.
