Coral Power BioPro

Coral Power BioPro is essential for the replenishment of healthy bacteria in marine aquariums. A mix of 8 species of bacteria (including Bacillus and Photosynthetic bacteria, Rhodopseudomonas palustris). It is a specially formulated probiotic blend carefully designed to improve nutrient cycling, mitigate pathogens and increase remediation of biological processes in marine aquariums. BioPro assists in the control of harmful pathogens by overpowering unwanted bacteria. It produces enzymes to help the breakdown of complex organic compounds, which reduce tank sludge buildup and improve water clarity. It will also enhance nutrient cycling removing solid and dissolved waste by digestion of a range of organic matter. The following are typically noticeable after use:
Dosing the best made easy, just for you. Please note this product should be stored in the refrigerator after opening to prolong shelf life and should be used within 12 months of opening. Available in 50 mL and 100mL. |
Dosage rate:
All Marine Aquariums - 2ml / 100L / week
The above dosage rate is a recommended rate for most aquarium tanks. Dosing too much Coral Power BioPro can cause a drop in Nitrate levels. Coral Essentials always recommends nitrate levels at 3-5ppm. Please ensure you keep testing nitrate levels and make sure your tank level does not reach a level significantly below this. As nitrate acts as a food for coral, extremely low levels may cause corals to pale out. Reduce the dosage if this is not your intended outcome. Other options are to increase feeding or use Coral Power Nitrate Up to maintain levels. A robust bacteria level and consistent feeding will produce the best results for coral in the aquarium.
It is not recommended to dose Coral Power BioPro via dosing pumps, we recommend to dose directly out of the bottles the product is manufactured in. To increase shelf life it should be stored in the refrigerator.
